LaserAirCam is a Raspberry Pi–based companion node for laser engravers that provides HD camera streaming, a wireless serial gateway, AirAssist control, RGB status feedback, and Home Assistant integration. It targets makers and operators using GRBL/LightBurn systems (e.g., Atomstack A1) who want a stable LAN virtual COM, remote camera, and automated tool feedback without messy USB runs. Key features: live MJPEG stream, snapshots and timed high-res StreamHD captures; browser Web UI and API; MQTT bridge with Home Assistant auto-discovery; addressable LED profiles and 3 physical buttons; ser2net virtual COM with hybrid passthrough and safe queuing of commands; 24V PWM AirAssist with G-code–driven automatic/manual modes; V4L2 camera support.
