Consent Scheme is an R7RS-small guest language and agentic REPL design with Emacs as the first host adapter. It provides a Lisp-native scripting environment for agents and users to author portable Scheme libraries, memory/plans/transcripts/approvals as Scheme-readable datums, and policy-gated host interactions. Who uses it: agent code and interactive users inside Emacs today, with a portable core intended for other hosts in future. Key features: - R7RS-small compliance (macros, define-library) and test coverage for pure Scheme - Explicit, auditable host capabilities and grants instead of unrestricted access - Approval, diff, and VCS datums and event yields as canonical portable shapes - Host adapters separated from core (Emacs adapter is first slice) - Multi-host bootstrap plan, conservative capability model, and parity between Emacs Lisp and portable R7RS behavior
