tabby-claude-status integrates Claude Code with the Tabby terminal. It has two parts: a Tabby plugin (npm: tabby-claude-status) that watches Claude Code hook events and drives per-tab visual state (color, emoji, progress bar, taskbar flash/overlay) and optional TTS (Web Speech, Edge Neural, Windows OneCore, or local Piper); and an optional companion webapp that accepts hook POSTs, provides snapshot/restore of Tabby tabs, an MCP tool explorer UI, and resolves curl-only events to tabs via HTTP. The plugin works standalone; the webapp adds persistent session resume and UI. Communication uses a temp JSON status file and POST /api/claude/hook (webhook URL configurable). Install: build/install the plugin via npm into Tabby; run the webapp via docker-compose behind a local reverse proxy. MIT licensed, actively maintained.
