This repository packages a two-skill Claude Code setup for diagram-first system understanding. It includes a main operational skill, diagram-first-system-understanding, for multi-turn, diagram-led learning of codebases and systems (orientation, map-building, focal expansion, evidence anchoring, design-insight extraction), and a companion skill, orchestrating-diagrams-for-understanding, for diagram-choice logic and lightweight orchestration/policy review. The main skill is the default entrypoint; the companion is used when diagram-policy judgment or comparison is needed. The project prefers Mermaid as the primary diagram medium (conservative, low-risk; simplify rather than abandon) and avoids using ASCII in place of Mermaid-worthy diagrams. Users: developers, architects, and Claude Code assistants analyzing systems. Docs: install, usage, repository map, and Chinese docs.
