IO is an always-running daemon that orchestrates specialized AI agent teams ("squads") to work on codebases. You interact via a single conversational interface (TUI, Telegram, or web) and IO routes tasks to the appropriate squad, coordinates planning and reviews, and returns deliverables or blocking questions. Who uses it: developers, maintainers, and teams who want automated assistance for coding, reviews, QA, issue triage, and recurring workflows. Key features: squad-based delegation (Team Lead, agents, mandatory QA/veto), persona theming, React web dashboard (real-time chat, squad management, inbox, wiki, usage charts), cron schedules for automation, inbox for deliverables/questions, model/token tracking and per-agent model selection, REST/WebSocket/TUI/Telegram clients.
