Claude Notify runs on a Raspberry Pi touchscreen and visually alerts you when a Claude Code session on your Mac/Linux/Windows machine needs input. It’s aimed at developers using Claude Code who want an out-of-window visual cue. Key features: - Per-session mascots shown in a Chromium kiosk (grid, up to 4 visible; dancing ones bubble forward). - Pi hosts a small Flask server exposing POST endpoints (/notify, /idle, /heartbeat, /end) and an SSE /events feed. - Claude Code hook script posts events from ~/.claude/hooks to the Pi; sessions tracked by session_id. - Heartbeats (PreToolUse/PostToolUse) refresh “last seen” and optional whimsy text; sessions evicted after 10 minutes idle. - Designed for Waveshare-style 3.5" SPI LCD but works with any Pi framebuffer; includes install and autostart steps.
