jd-skills is a tiny collection of Claude Code "skills" that constrain AI-assisted coding to avoid pulling whole repos or adding heavy runtime deps. It's aimed at developers who use Claude/Claude Code and want precise, minimal code lifts or controlled vendoring. Key features: - surgical-github-extraction: fetch README + 1–3 raw files to /tmp, extract the smallest useful function or pattern, paste with provenance; avoids git clone, npm/pip installs, transitive deps, or version pins. - code-graft: vendor only the slice of a library you need into your repo, trim unrelated parts, track origin in .code-graft.yaml, and selectively re-sync upstream while preserving local edits. Install by dropping SKILL.md into ~/.claude/skills/ or symlinking the repo. MIT licensed.
