aimonitor is a lightweight tool for macOS and Linux that monitors multi-account Anthropic (Claude Code) usage and silently switches active accounts to avoid hitting OAuth rate/usage limits. It’s aimed at developers or power users who run the claude CLI or multiple Claude accounts and want seamless credential switching without re-login. Key features: - Live 5‑hour and 7‑day usage bars (polled from Anthropic’s /api/oauth/usage). - Silent account switching by refreshing OAuth tokens and writing live credentials. - Auto-swap at a configurable utilization threshold (default 80%), can SIGINT running REPLs to restart on the new account. - Secure storage in OS keyring (macOS Keychain, Linux libsecret); SQLite stores references only. - Local-first design: no telemetry, only outbound calls to Anthropic usage/token endpoints. - CLI and macOS menu‑bar app; configurable daemon/autostart.
