JeanClaude is a production-ready drop-in replacement for the Claude Code CLI that routes model calls to DeepSeek V4 models. Developers who use Claude Code but want to avoid Anthropic dependency or supply a DeepSeek API key can run `jeanclaude` with the same flags, interactive behavior, and tool integrations as `claude-code`. Key features: - Routes all model traffic to DeepSeek via DEEPSEEK_API_KEY (no Anthropic key required). - Privacy-first defaults: disables telemetry, diagnostics, feature flags, history, session persistence, auto-updates, and strips Anthropic tokens; uses ephemeral home dirs. - Four curated model profiles (v4-pro/v4-flash with optional “thinking” presets). - Multiple execution modes: direct (default), gateway (process/container/external), and auto. - Configured via environment variables and supports Docker Compose. - Includes verification tools (doctor), installer scripts, and docs for profiles, modes, and configuration.
