AgentForge is a chart-aware AI agent integrated into OpenEMR that provides a Vue 3 patient dashboard and a multimodal evidence pipeline. Designed for clinicians, it extracts structured fields from intake/lab PDFs using a vision LLM, overlays clickable bounding-box citations back to source pixels, and persists extractions through OpenEMR’s canonical service layer so audit trails remain intact. It supports chart Q&A across problems, meds, labs, vitals, allergies, immunizations, procedures, and notes, with every assistant claim grounded to a resolvable citation. Architecture: FastAPI + LangGraph sidecar BFF (OAuth2 token never enters JS), PDF.js DocumentViewer, and minimal OpenEMR module additions. Safety/correctness features include bbox-confidence gating, CI eval gates that detect citation/extraction regressions, and sidecar-initiated persistence to ensure single-sourced auditability. Built as a fork for the Gauntlet AI W1+W2 deliverable and seeded with synthetic demo patients.
