Repo Preflight Drift Scanner is a deterministic local CLI and GitHub Action that serves as an internal QA/preflight gate for AI-assisted development workflows. Use it before merge, demo, release, or public export to surface obvious release blockers, risky claims, private-publication exposures, or AI-process drift. Intended users: developers, release engineers, maintainers, and internal QA teams who run checks locally or in CI. Key features: - Outputs Markdown, JSON, HTML, and SARIF reports. - Built-in profiles: strict, docs, dora-ai-readiness, public-export. - Rules that detect missing process docs, unchecked release gates, risky public claims, secret-bearing filenames, generated artifacts, open-work/draft-content drift, and public-export hygiene issues. - dora-ai-readiness emits findings (info or blocker) for seven capability surfaces: AI stance, data boundary, AI-accessible context, version-control/rollback path, small-batch delivery, user focus, and internal-platform verification. - Configurable rule packs, baseline diffs, and privacy controls (paranoid, redact, evidence trimming, path modes). - Python 3.10–3.13 support; not a security/compliance/vulnerability scanner—just a deterministic preflight report generator.
