Crosswalk is a local-first job-search assistant that runs on your computer. It finds matching job listings, generates tailored résumés and cover letters (using only facts from your résumé), answers application questions, fills complex web forms (including iframes and multi-page wizards) and can optionally submit applications and handle email verification codes. Data and history live locally (~/.crosswalk); you supply an AI API key (Anthropic) or run Crosswalk as an MCP server inside AI clients (Claude, Cursor, Codex, etc.). Users are job seekers who want automated, private, reproducible application workflows. Key features: job search across many companies, per-job résumé rewriting, cover-letter/answer generation, form autofill, email inbox integration, alerts/pipeline, and local privacy. Setup requires Node.js and a short install/start process.
