Chrome Agent Bridge is a small HTTP gateway that lets remote AI agents drive a real, logged-in Chrome browser over a private network (Tailscale, WireGuard, private VPC). It exposes a limited set of safe browser actions while keeping Chrome's CDP bound to 127.0.0.1. Intended for developers/operators who need agents to interact with sites that block headless browsers or require authentication (LinkedIn, Discord, internal dashboards). Key features: ~120-line Express+Playwright server; Windows, macOS and Linux support; one-click installers and manual setup; auto-start helpers (Task Scheduler, launchd, systemd); dedicated Chrome profile/user-data-dir; health checks and quick-start scripts. Security note: the gateway grants full control of the targeted Chrome profile—run only on trusted machines and never expose it to the public internet. Not designed for public scraping or strong multi-tenant isolation.
