Agent Lounge is a local-first coordination workspace for people running multiple AI coding agents (Codex, Gemini CLI, Claude Code, OpenCode). It’s designed so another agent can pick up work when one runs out of quota, fails on a browser workflow, or loses context—without manual copying of conversation history. Who uses it: developers/operators who orchestrate multiple local/cloud AI agents and want persistent, shareable operational state. Key features: - ACTIVE.md short task index for cross-agent handoff - One Markdown thread per task/failure (Current State, Blocker, Next Step) - Reusable lessons for recurring patterns - Proposal files for skill or global-rule changes - Installer that creates a local lounge directory and an agent-lounge skill - Clear public/private boundary (templates vs private threads) Workflow guidance, example scenarios, and planned extensions (CLI, archiving, project lounges, secret scanning).
