Trini-Meal-Planner-Chatbot is a retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) chatbot that helps users decide what to cook while enforcing budgets and other constraints. It’s aimed at home cooks, students, small households and anyone managing dietary restrictions or cost limits. Key features: budget-aware recipe suggestions; constraint-based filtering for allergies and meal preferences (vegetarian, vegan, etc.); conversational planning so users can iteratively refine choices; and grounding of suggestions by retrieving relevant recipes or source information via RAG. It is a practical assistant for constrained meal planning, not a medical or nutrition authority.
