ai-github is a Claude Code "display layer" skill that automates polishing a GitHub repo's public page: README rewrite, GitHub description, and topic tags. It’s intended for developers and project owners who use Claude Code and want their repo landing page to read like a usable product rather than a placeholder. Key features: - Three-piece makeover: full README rewrite following a 17-section template, a formulaic 30–100 word GitHub description, and 10–15 curated topics across six categories. - Optional bootstrap: git init + gh repo create + push for new projects. - Optional LICENSE auto-complete when README mentions a license but no LICENSE file exists (defaults to MIT). - Automatic research of reference READMEs and SKILL.md, automated commit/push and gh repo edit/topic updates, and pre-checks (git/gh presence). Requires Claude Code with RW tools and the gh CLI.
