research-os is a CLI control plane that turns exploratory research into frozen, traceable evidence packs. It enforces separation of concerns (discovery → fetch → extraction → triage → contradiction mapping → review → gating → synthesis), records every action in append-only ledgers, and computes readiness from those ledgers rather than assertions. Intended for researchers, teams, and auditors who need verifiable, source-traceable claims and reproducible review decisions (including waiver handling).
