Claude Threads for Obsidian is a sidebar plugin that runs multiple Claude Code sessions in parallel inside Obsidian. It’s aimed at Obsidian desktop users who run Claude Code (developers, power users, technical writers) and want tight integration between interactive AI sessions and their vault. Key features: multi-tab independent sessions with persistent histories and auto-naming; streaming Markdown rendering; Agent Dashboard with list/Kanban dispatch, file attachments and inline permission prompts for file writes/commands; vault-aware tools — @ file mentions, focus-edited-files, workspace tab syncing; slash commands including ~/.claude/skills/; model switching, context compaction, tool-call visibility, push-to-talk STT, draft persistence, and first-run onboarding. Requires Obsidian 1.0+ and Claude Code CLI.
