Prevu provides open-source agent-facing tooling for creating real staging environments that coding agents can run, expose, and hand humans a preview URL. Intended users: developers, integrators and coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, OpenHands, etc.) and contributors who need the CLI, agent “skills,” or the public staging-image contract. Key components: - @prevu/cli: terminal/agent commands for auth, env lifecycle, SSH/exec, starting services, exposing ports, and listing preview URLs. - @prevu/skills: SKILL.md instructions that teach agents how to use the CLI reliably. - images/staging-ubuntu: staging-image contract (user=prevu, /workspace, metadata paths, SSH, Docker, common dev tools). Includes install and dev commands. The hosted control plane, billing, and internal orchestration are intentionally excluded. License: MIT.
