Hermes Universal Document Translator is a Python package and Hermes skill for automated document translation into Russian inside the Hermes Agent environment (v0.3: Hermes-native pipeline, manifest metadata, sanitizer v2). It's intended for developers/operators running Hermes Agent and localization engineers who need resumable, auditable translation pipelines. Key features: - Foundation stage: glossary/style/entities extraction with LLM fallback. - 2-wave translation: wave1 parallel chunk translation with context; wave2 polishing using glossary/style. Semaphore limits concurrency (max 3). - 5 QA gates (Terminology, Integrity, Style, Fluency, Formatting) producing remediation.json; repair reruns wave2 only for flagged chunks. - Multiple backends: mock (deterministic testing), hermes_delegate (runtime-only), minimax_api (experimental), sequential fallback. - Sanitizer v2: strips model reasoning wrappers, conversational wrappers, normalizes whitespace, detects CJK contamination. - Resumable pipeline, multi-format export (md/docx/html/pdf/txt), project workspace layout under ~/translations/<project_slug>/ and CLI scripts (prepare, translate, qa, repair, merge, export, report, status, list). Status flags: SUCCESS vs PARTIAL_SUCCESS.
