pev-harness is a Claude Code plugin that implements a Plan→Execute→Verify (PEV) pipeline redesigned for Claude Opus 4.x (tested with Opus 4.8). It’s aimed at developers and teams who use Claude Code to automate code-change tasks while keeping human review and safety controls. Key features: - Phase pipeline: Triage (decides if a Plan is needed) → Plan (question-back to elicit missing spec) → Execute → Verify, with retries on failure. - Triage-driven "plan skip" for many routine tasks. - Gate A: human approval when a plan is produced; Gate B: verification hooks. - Dual-review mode (--strict) to run parallel reviewers and merge structured results. - Per-task durable agent memory (~/.claude/pev/{TASK_ID}/) for retries and session resume. - Optional integrations: Linear issue sync, Playwright E2E verification, OpenAI Codex external reviewer. - Commands for init, plan, execute, verify and project/team install modes.
