SmartRead Agent is an Android/Kotlin mobile AI reading assistant built for students to speed up comprehension and review of textbooks, articles and lecture materials. It’s intended for classroom demos and course submission (two-course project) and for student use during study and testing. Key features (V1.0 demo stable): - Text import and built-in example texts - One-sentence summary, bullet-style (point) summaries - Keyword extraction - Knowledge-card generation and simple review-question generation - Agent-style Q&A based on the imported text - Local history: save, restore, clear records - LiteRT on-device sentence-importance analysis (tflite) for first 5 sentences Tech stack and scope: - Android/Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, local text-processing algorithms, rule-based local Agent, LiteRT on-device model (exported .tflite). V1.0 freezes features for final demo; APK and documentation included in release folder.
