aiHealth Imaging is a standalone PACS and viewer extracted from the aiHealth EMR for DICOM/CBCT and 3D IOS files. It’s intended for radiologists, imaging centres and dental imaging clinics who need a separately scaled imaging product (petabyte storage, GPU rendering, different regulatory profile). Current status: scaffold (phase 1 extraction in progress), not yet deployed. Key technical points: Vite + React 18 + Tailwind + shadcn/ui frontend; shared Supabase auth and read-only access to the EMR’s patient/encounter storage buckets; Three.js renderer for 3D meshes now, planned Cornerstone3D + OHIF for DICOM/CBCT in phase 2. The EMR embeds viewers via window.open to URL routes (/viewer/ios, /viewer/dicom, /viewer/cbct, etc.). Local dev: npm install && npm run dev. Auto-deploys to Vercel from main. Next steps are outlined in the EMR handoff doc (handoff/IMAGING_SPLIT.md).
