This repo is a practical guide and configuration to build an automated “second brain” inside an Obsidian vault using Claude Code as an agent. It’s aimed at knowledge workers, researchers, makers and anyone who accumulates articles, notes, transcripts and tasks and wants automated maintenance. Key elements: - Requires Obsidian + Claude Code and a CLAUDE.md instruction file placed in your vault. - Creates a recommended folder structure (raw-sources, wiki/, transcripts, Action-Tracker, Memory.md). - Automates ingestion (web clips → summaries in /wiki/summaries), indexing, cross-linking and updates to concept/entity pages. - Provides recurring maintenance: linting for contradictions/orphans, morning digests via scheduled scripts, transcript processing into decisions/actions, and queryable wiki responses with citations. - Emphasis on agentic upkeep so the user curates sources and Claude handles summarizing, linking and bookkeeping.
